Quote of the Week

"In the process of letting go, you will lose many things from the past, but you will find yourself." -- Deepak Chopra

Letting Go To Find Joy In The New Year

As another year comes to an end, we look back and reflect on all that we experienced personally and collectively with our friends and families.  Naturally, this process leads many of us to look to the year ahead and think about our new year's resolutions, the things we want to achieve for ourselves and our families.  However, what if we turned this idea on its head and instead reflected on what we want to let go of in the new year in order to lead more deeply meaningful, connected and joyful lives with our families?

We hope you enjoy this week's featured article which offers seeds of inspiration for 16 things to let go of as a parent in the coming year, in order to find joy and reconnect with ourselves and our families.

By: Dr. Brené Brown
Stage: Any

Why? "In this best-selling book, Brown highlights what we can let go of in life in order to fully embrace it and live truly wholeheartedly. Backed by a decade of research, she engages our minds, hearts, and spirits as she explores how we can cultivate courage, compassion, and connection to live deeply authentic and meaningful lives.
